Join us for a complimentary CPA symposium at the Columbus Citizens Foundation in the upper east side of Manhattan, NY. CPAs that attend the entire event will be given 2 CPEs. We will be covering advanced tax planning strategies such as; section 125 plans and 1031 exchanges. The goal of this symposium is to show CPAs how to utilize these strategies to offer commonly overlooked deductions for their clients AND add additional lines of revenue to their practice by doing so.

The group live presentation in which we will be covering Tax Deferred 1031 Exchanges; Rules, Guidelines and How to Add Flexibility by incorporating a Delaware Statutory Trust (DST). After completing this course you will be able to:

  • Identify the timing requirements and guidelines related to a 1031 exchange
  • Identify the debt and equity requirements to fulfill a 1031 exchange
  • Know how to implement a contingency plan for a 1031 exchange
  • Know how to facilitate the debt of a 1031 exchange if financing is unattainable
  • Know how to facilitate any excess equity for a 1031 exchange

Payroll Tax Reduction Plans: A Road map to Using IRC Section 125 to Set up a Tax Advantageous Payroll Structure. After completing this course you will be able to:

  • Identify how a business can reduce their payroll taxes by up to $1400 a year per employee
  • Identify how to create tax credits for employees to fund additional voluntary benefits
  • Know how a Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan functions
  • Identify if a business is eligible for a Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan
  • Identify if an employee is eligible for a Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan

2 CPE Credits will be given for Taxes and 2 CPE Credits will b given for Personnel/Human Resources
